The Bareiss Digital Durometer – digi test II shore hardness tester is a fully automated hardness testing instrument used to measure Shore, Micro, IRHD (international rubber hardness degree), and VLRH (very low rubber hardness) on a variety of elastomers, foam material. Our digital durometer advanced materia testing instrument the highly intelligent digi test II shore hardness tester is equipped with an electronic unit which serves as the main control of the entire system and the display of the user’s information for measuring time, method measurement, and various selectable features. Unlike the conventional hardness testers which are limited to only flat-surfaced samples, measuring with the Bareiss digi test II shore hardness tester allows hardness testing on convex and concave surfaces by using the automatic surface detection technology. In addition to that, we can customize our indenter length so that it can reach any point on the sample which is required for measuring. Bareiss offers a wide range of standard sample holders and positioning devices, but we also specialize in customizing holders for your particular products.

Whether a standard specimen or a thin-walled specimen – the digi test II offers a suitable hardness testing solution for any kind of specimen. For more than 45 years, the Bareiss’s hardness testing technologies have impressed with its interchangeable probe system for hardness testing of different elastic materials and shapes. The specimen preparation and positioning are equally important. Therefore, Bareiss offers a wide selection of off-the-shelf sample fixtures as well as custom solutions. The user influences are minimized through the automatic testing sequence. A calibration according to DAkkS / DIN ISO 17025 is possible either at your place of business, on-site, or in our laboratory

Product features and benefits
1) User-Friendly: This automatic shore hardness tester is equipped with an electronic unit that can show user information, time, and method of measurement, and is equipped with various other configurations along with automatic measurement of time and range detection.
2) Range of Measurement: This Automatic hardness testing machine can measure the hardness of O rings, seals, rubbers, and plastics by making use of special measuring devices for which the fixtures can also be customized according to the sample that is to be tested.
3) Mechanism: The measuring devices have an easy plug-and-play solution with no complex mechanism. The measuring devices can easily be fastened by hand using the knurled nut and the electronic unit can easily detect the device once it is set up.
4) Complexity: Concave and convex samples can easily be tested for their shore hardness using the special measuring devices developed by Bareiss.
5) Special Features: The hysteresis function is available in Micro, IRHD and VLRH methods, providing a better understanding of the results for further analysis.
